Meal planning is the bane of my existence. I dread sitting down eat week to plan our grocery list and daily meals. I always feel like I have no time to cook a good meal once I do get home. Every week I have to work to find meals that are healthy and simple. I thought it would be fun, and helpful, to share the recipes I’ve found manageable to make after work in the evenings.
Here is what’s on the menu for this week:
Monday- Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken -I was smart and made this a day ahead, so all we have to do is heat it up and it’ll be ready to go!
Tuesday- Baked Pork Chops -I’ll add some simple veggie sides like mashed potatoes and sweet peas to this recipe.
Wednesday- Breakfast for Dinner -This was one of my favorites growing up. I make pancakes, eggs, and bacon for a tasty dinner.
Thursday- Classic Chicken Parmesan -Our side with this meal will just be spaghetti.
Friday- Leftovers/Fend for yourself night.
Recently my sweet mama bought me a subscription to Plan to Eat. This week was my first week using it for meal planning and it really made the process so much easier! You can save recipes from any site, it will create a shopping list from your weekly planner, and you can even add your own recipes! I’m actually looking forward to planning next week with it. You can check out Plan to Eat [here].
